Welcome to my internet gemstone
catalog. My name is Barbara Smigel, I'm a
Graduate Gemologist, and my passions are
selling colored stones, and teaching about
them. Every gemstone I offer for sale is a
one-of-a-kind piece. In each case there's
something noteworthy about either the
material itself, or the cut given to it. I
offer a wide variety of jewelry stones
from custom cutters whose work reflects
the highest standards, as well as rare
stones of special interest to collectors.
In addition to loose gems, you'll find a
select inventory of fine contemporary and
vintage gemstone jewelry, with graceful
designs, and featuring less common
materials.
On this site you'll also find an
extensive library of gemological
information to which you have free
access without registering as a
customer or making any purchases. This
includes: a monthly gem topic essay, a
large archive of past essays, a free gem
slideshow, and a free online gemology
course.

Terms/Practices:
I accept all major
credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal
payments to the account of
bsmigel@cox.net. Orders placed with
Nevada billing addresses are subject to
7.75% Sales Tax. Orders are filled in the
chronological order in which they were
received, and will be processed quickly.
All email and phone inquiries will be
personally answered, usually within 24
hours. New items will be posted monthly,
usually on the 1st of the month, and
newsletters will be sent no more than
twice a month. No information you submit
via email, or during the registration or
ordering process will be used for
any purpose other than that which
you intended.
Guarantee:
If, for any reason you are
unsatisfied with your purchase, return the
unaltered goods within ten days of your
receipt, and upon receipt your money, less
shipping, will be promptly and cheerfully
refunded.
